Prior to becoming a RSW, I was a youth worker for ten years. My experience has included frontline in Addictions, Mental Health, Disabilty, Care and Protection facilities, and Schools-based social work and leadership. More recently I have gained experience in leadership within the Housing space.
Over the past five years, I have been providing professional supervision to practitioners. This has included working with social workers, students, mentors, support workers, community development practitioners, and youth workers.
I provide Āta-informed, strengths-based and solution-focused supervision. I am passionate about all supervisees feeling heard, empowered and confident within their mahi. Together, we explore complexity and solutions, whilst supporting the practitioner's wellbeing and development.
