Qualifications: Diploma in counselling, oversees degree in labour relations and post graduation in Humans and Labour, including supervision training.
 

Gerda is an experienced supervisor and has worked with staff in the non-profit, health and wellbeing sectors since commencing supervision during the 1980s. She supervised, Counsellors, Nurses, Pastoral cares, Social Lawyer, Health coaches, Managers,  workers in NGO and Kaupapa Maori service provider.

Gerda has over 25 years experience as a Registered Nurse in the Canterbury DHB Specialist Mental Health service and over 10 years as a Person Centred Counsellor in the NGO sector. She has also worked as a Brief Intervention Coordinator, Human Resource Consultant and Union Representative during her career. Now in private practice and working for Pathways.

I see the supervisee as a whole person and believes all aspects of yourself including lifestyle and cultural background, can play a part in the functioning of the professional persona. She will create the space for you to safely reflect on your perspectives.

I am an Oma to 2 grandsons, like the outdoors, provide Airbnb and travel often to Tauranga.

Session can be online or in person. Times can be flexible. Rates depending on circumstances and requirements.
