  I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology (2009) and have largely worked in academic settings, in the US and Australia.  My research and teaching has focused on clinical psychology training and working effectively with diverse populations, in particular migrant communities. I have worked with a broad range of practitioners (e.g., psychologists, public health practitioners, medical residents, community health workers) and organisations (e.g., health clinics, non-profits) to support, evaluate, and improve their cultural safety and effectiveness.  As a therapist and supervisor, I work collaboratively and prioritise creating a safe and inclusive environment. I am registered with Te Poari Kaimātai Hinengaro o Aotearoa | NZ Psychologists Board and a member of Rōpū Mātai Hinengaro o Aotearoa | New Zealand Psychological Society. I am happy to have a free initial conversation to see if there’s a good fit and to negotiate the cost and scheduling of supervision.
